I'm gonna restart my Fallout Character. mostly cause my main one got a glitch and i can't level up at all. I'm stuck at level 21. Have been for a while now.

You cant go higher until the last DLC is out and the level goes up to 30 then.

So wait. they made a level cutoff at 21?

that's fucking stupid of those presidents.

Does it go up if I were to download Operation Anchorage?

The third DLC raises the level. The reason they capped it is because your practically invincible at 21 if your good.

I am but i mismanaged my stuff in the beginning so I was hoping for more levels to try and level some things out.

I downloaded Operation Anchorage last night.

edit: I beat Operation Anchorage today. Wasn't too bad. Kind of wish Fallout released a game like that though. That took place during the war. Although the AI of your squad members is kind of... low. Like running into an open area with 10 snipers.... But the Gauss Rifle, Electric Sword, and Chinese Stealth Suit are the shit. T-51b armor however isn't all that great. Good rad resistance but it doesn't boost your strength like the other power armor.

Downloaded it this morning. Imma check some more shit on the net then go up and play and ill tell you how it is. At least you can return to Pittsburgh supposedly

edit: it's totally fucking glitched. Go to pittsburgh. There's big red diamonds that have a "!" on them. You try to go downtown to start the mission and it freezes. Every fucking time.

I dunno if it's just because it was just released or what but i'm pretty angry

I am waiting for them to put up the good version. Cause for some odd reason it seems they still have the glitched version up.

So I deleted it then downloaded it again. time number 5 was a charm. It worked rather well. One problem i'll say later.

Got to playing it. It's alright I guess. But I am kind of annoyed by stupid shit in it. I have to say the new weapons you get are THE SHIT. The infiltrator is like an automatic sniper rifle. there is a gun called the "metal blaster" which is a laser rifle that's ALOT more powerful. you get misc armor that's not worth a fuck throughout it. And the Autoaxe is AWESOME. too bad there's like 14 versions.


but all in all it's decent. story isn't horrible. But I got so close to being done. then turned it off for a little bit. and then i went to load it and the save was corrupted.

Got it today... Its decent doesn't seem like theres much to explore though Im not far either. The major issue I am having already is well 2 issues.

First its making my 360 choppy at some points I have had to turn it off twice pretty much shitty lagg that it never does.

Second it fucking glitched up in that house and the head asshole keeps repeating "I wont stop you" it also locked me in so I had to kill the mofucka and every other raider because I needed his key to get out and now its hella not the way I was planning on going about it so I am going back to my last save right before I came to the pit! >:[

Besides that its cool... Also for anyone just starting to play it when you get in the pit they take your weapons which freaked me out because I had shit I couldn't get back IE: Alien Blaster, Chinese Ninja Suit, Ect....
Don't freak out and go off them at megaton like I did take them in you will get them back later.. Just so you know and by the looks of what happens after that you will need them.

Well you get so much good shit from collecting the steel ingots from the steelyard, you're fine. I just left all my shit in megaton.

But it glitched when I was right near finishing it at the end. You get a SHIT TON of exclusive shit though when you collect all the ingots. But it's a pain in the dick finding alot of them.

They really need to address the glitch issues even if they have to set back release dates honestly I would rather wait and get a quality DL. I wasn't gonna take the ingot thing srsly but now I will thnx.

Yeah it's totally worth it before you go into the hole.

My thing was the bullshit glitch when it was first released. That shit was driving me nuts. But I deleted and downloaded it and it worked fine outside of it corrupting that once. But that's cause Fallout 3 freezes on me from time to time.

But yeah I'd rather wait until they are 100% that there will be no glitches.

there's 100 ingots and they are a pain in the dick to find. Go figure I found 99, and the ONE i missed was obviously in the open in a spot i went over 50 times. But the payoffs are worth it.

Like in between you get alot of stupid shit. But the few things you get are awesome. your last gift is tribal power armor though which is pretty awesome AND increases your luck and all.

Actually do save your weapons it only gives you back a few and it doesn't give back any good shit . Save anything unique b4 you go in.

Also im not sure if its cuz it took my weapons but at the end it restarts the anchorage mission?

I dunno. First time I went to do it when it took all my stuff I didn't save it so i restarted and went back and dumped all my stuff in my house at megaton.

Since The Pitt was glitching I wasn't gonna take the chance of losing my good stuff.

The thing about operation anchorage I don't know. I wish I could play it again. It was kind of fun. I'm waiting for the Brotherhood DLC now

Played threw it after stashing my weapons and I still lost all my anchorage weapons? BS. I have to play threw anchorage again to get em back it opened the mission again.

I didn't have that problem. Still gots all my anchorage weapons.

i think the game pretty much sucks.. anchorage was whack as fuck.. the pits ok but i hate this game.. 2 much like oblivion and waste of life.

pc version is 100x better.

my PC isn't for gaming. Nor am I wasting money for a PC for gaming.

The game is good though. It's something different compared to your boring ass FPS out there now. Anchorage took alot of the cool shit from Fallout 3 and incorporated it into a war scenario. And it was cool seeing places that weren't all blown up and shit.

Yep happened to me twice I played threw Anchorage last night to get my guns back, well mostly for the ninja suit.... Now im going ninjad up back to the pit to kill trogs and look for ingots.

Finding ingots is a pain in the dick. some spots you gotta be extra careful to find them.

It's suppose to continue where the end of the game left off, like after you purify the water and you 'die'. So that's pretty cool.

After you "die" you don't really "die" apparently. You supposedly wake up 2 weeks later in the Citadel.

But yeah the new DLC comes out tomorrow. Broken Steel. Raises the level cap to 30. Adds new weapons, armor, enemies, areas. Stuff like that. it looks good.

I won't download it until maybe next week or so though. Or until I hear it's glitch free.

Problem with Anchorage and The Pitt is they were both glitched as fuck when they were first released.

Anchorage and The Pitt have both been patched up and are on the marketplace fine now.

I was considering downloading broken steel today but a stroll to the Fallout3 forums made me think otherwise. Apparently it's not AS glitchy as the other two since it runs with the regular fallout 3 stuff. But it's got it's own problems. and PC users can't seem to get it to work at all.

I may get all 3 today and act like its just one HUGE FUCKING GAME
