lol shitty games? aka most of the same games on 360? You get a lot more for your money on the PS3.

You get: Blu-Ray Player with upgradable Live features, ability to use any usb drive to save games, a re-chargable controller, FREE unlimted themes that you can download from online and put on via a usb drive, no hacking required, FREE online gaming, and HOME which is a social world you can access from your couch.


With 360: a regular DVD player, NO batteries for your controller you have to buy a play and charge kit or tons of batteries, if you want to bring a saved game to a friends house you have to buy an official memory card, decent themes = $ , you have to PAY FOR online gaming, no social world just shitty looking avatars (sonys are shitty too but look more realistic), also included with 360 is the the threat of RROD or any other number of malfunctions.


So yea you look at the initial price tag of the PS3 and the 360 and you think fuck the 360 is cheaper, but in fact it is NOT.

I own both so I am not hating on either one, just showing the pros and cons.

Most the titles on the PS3 are on the 360, so it doesn't really make it worth purchasing. When I said "shitty games" i meant the exclusives.

You put the upgrade shit into a 360 (the play and charge thing is only $12 you cheap fuck) it's still cheaper than a PS3. And the RROD thing isn't as bad with the newer systems.

SCEA has just sent out a press release detailing what readers of this blog already know. Although PS3 is an expensive machine, it's a better value than the other competing systems. In a press release called "Keeping Entertainment Simple," the company showed this chart showing all the things you get in the PS3 that you can't in other systems. Yes, it's a biased chart, but it's the kind of information that SCEA should spread in the first place. Imagine if they put this info in a retail store? Perhaps more consumers would think kindly of Sony's black box.

Buying the arcade console in itself is fucking retarded.

$300 got me a Pro system. and play and charge is $14 up here. Not to mention mine already has HDMI inputs and such.

So for less than $400 I've matched the PS3 but only 20gb short. Which isn't a huge deal to me.

I don't fuck with Blu-ray anyways. so it works out for me. In time I'll get all that shit but other than that the PS3 isn't worth the overpriced horse it rode in on.

360 def owns the game market not only do they have way better exclusive games they also have more exclusive content like the upcoming GTA DLC.... Now why would I buy a game on PS3 that will expand to a larger game on the Xbox?

I have both systems and I have 1 game on my PS3 and countless for my 360.
If you dont play sports games the PS3 is just a glorified Blu Ray player like mine.

I have both systems, and 360 is better. The PS3 is inferior. Maybe not in system specs and the other technical mumbo-jumbo, but looking at the gaming selection and quality, 360 trumps PS3.

360's interface is more user friendly and easier to find what you're looking for.

Don't even get me started on the games selection. Sure, there are tons of great games for both systems, but most of PS3's games are multi-platform games. I've bought multiple games for both systems, and found myself trading in most of the PS3 games for 360 games. The only 2 games I have kept for PS3 are the God of War Collection and Heavy Rain.

MAG was bad. Really bad. They just throw you into a match, don't even explain what to do. The training was minimal. There's just too much going on. The idea was kool, but it wasn't delivered properly.

Killzone 2 would have been good, but the wacky controls threw me off.

Infamous was just like Prototype: SHIT.

And somebody please tell me why most of the games on PS3, which is supposedly better at graphics, are only available up to 720p!
